Ideally situated in the north of Burgundy, between the motorways A6 and A77 and just outside the Paris region, you will find the village of Charny with, the campsite des Platanes on the banks of the river Ouanne. Our site is set in an oasis of calm, in the heart of a rural and slightly hilly area. If you want to relax with your family and friends, or explore the authentic region, we welcome you at our campsite with its warm and friendly atmosphere. In this region, you will find a variety of historic places of interest, such as the Castles of Guédelon and Saint Fargeau, Auxerre, Vézelay and last but not least Paris, on only 90 minutes from Charny. Here in Burgundy, you can enjoy the French cuisine and the outstanding wines of Chablis and Sancerre; wouldn’t it be great to linger for hours at the dinner table ? The campsite is accessible for disabled persons. The reception is open from 8am to 9 pm. We are open from 01/04 to 30/10
